The obedience training course is designed for pet owners seeking a positive approach to dog training. During this course, pet owners develop the appropriate relationship with their dogs focusing not only on the wanted behaviors but also on the emotional state of their dogs. This training course is a combination of theoretical and practical training delivered by professional dog trainers and law enforcement canine team’s instructors. This training course can be combined along with our online seminars and consultancy training course in order to be more flexible for pet owners and gain online consultancy.
Obedience training is in line with Animal Rights and delivered in our partnership academies and private schools. International Search Canine Academy emphasize in pet owners’ education and on their skills development. Before the start of each training course all pet owners follow a theoretical training in order to develop a “common” training language and approach with our instructors. Practical training is delivered once a week at the maximum in groups of six dog owners. During the training pet owners have the opportunity to observe and discuss with our instructors the solutions given to the group and gain experience by creating behaviors and/ or problem solving.
In this training course the main educational guidelines are given to dog owners by our instructors in order to improve their relationship with their dogs. The aim of these guidelines is to be implemented in practical training. The theoretical part includes
- Body language of dogs
- Other forms of communication
- Basic personality traits in dogs
- Learning Theories
- Training techniques.
Minimum age 18. Participants under 18 years old must have a written permission by their legal guardians. *For underage participants this training could be also provided as a part of educational activity of their schools.
