Course requirements
Creativity training is an advanced level in dog training. During creativity training pet owners will gain all the competence to develop complex behaviors to their dogs. In this training course pet owners have the ability to transform their dogs from pets to service dogs and to provide relevant services.
Creativity training is in line with Animal Rights and delivered in our partnership academies and private schools. International Search Canine Academy emphasize in pet owners’ education and on their skills development. Before the start of creativity training course all pet owners follow a theoretical training in order to develop a “common” training language and approach with our instructors. Practical training is delivered once a week at the maximum in groups of six dog owners. During the training pet owners have the opportunity to observe and discuss with our instructors the solutions given to the group and gain experience by creating behaviors and/or problem solving.
In this training course the main educational guidelines are given to dog owners by our instructors in order to improve their relationship with their dogs. The aim of these guidelines is to be implemented in practical training. The theoretical part includes
- Body language of dogs
- Other forms of communication
- Basic personality traits in dogs
- Learning Theories
- Training techniques.
Minimum age 18. Participants under 18 years old must have a written permission by their legal guardians*. All dogs must be socialized properly and have a satisfied level of obedience. Before the beginning of each training course our instructors perform assessments in order to inform pet owners about the suitability of their dogs. *For underage participants this training could be also provided as a part of educational activity of their schools.
